Handmade Fair 2018 - Ragley Hall, Warwickshire

Where do I start?! It’s so easy to sit behind a screen and press share on posts and answers questions in your own time once thought about a response but to showcase your work in front of thousands of people over a three day period is something totally outside of my comfort zone but what an experience it was!

Signing up to the handmade fair I was a bit unsure what to expect or how much space I actually had for my stand even though I recreated it numerous times in my lounge! Panic and fear also set in about how it would look, how people would react to my brand and what I was all about plus the fact it’s a well known fair where many go for the DIY classes so would they really want to buy readymade??

After endless sleepless nights making lots of stock and getting information together, pricelists and making sure I could take payment and that I had bags to put items in (always on top of any of my lists after a carboot distaster where I had none for people to use) I was ready and rather excited!!

Over the course of three days I met some amazing fellow small businesses and the faces behind brands I saw online plus the Queen of handmade herself KIrsty Allsopp
